Thought I would stick some piccies up.

Here she is as Bavaria intended.

Not done much in terms of mods just some gen6 angel eye halos for the headlights because I like them. DaveF induction kit courtesy of DaveF at e36coupe.com. It's a big K&N filter with a handmade heatshield and a cold air feed.

Scorpion exhaust which I fitted just to make her noisy for the Le Mans trip now I can't bear to swap back much to my wife's frustration. But then, until she contributes she gets no say!

Here she is all stickered up for Le Mans 2007. Now the stickers are off she looks a bit naked. Roll on 2008!

Shes very unique when you stickered her in 2007, for the Le Mans.

I did become quite fond of the stripes. But leaving the stickers on rather takes away the fun of dressing the car up for Le Mans. Going to stick some White Rabbit Racing URLs on for advertising etc but graphics are for Le Mans! We had over 90 cars wearing the same sticker packs (stripes/roundels/rabbits) and it looked awesome!

Out of interest where did you get the bonnet stickers from? It's just on the date it says 'th' after the 16 and 17 - with the rest of the date in French. Being really pedantic it should say 'ieme' which is the French equivalent of 'th' but they would also spell it without anything else (i.e just 16-17 Juin)

Nice cars BTW!

Did them myself, so its excusable!

Next year I really should pull my finger out and get organised, I could make a quick buck with a vinyl cutter...

Great stuff. I have had my Evo just over a month. I came from a DC2 Honda Integra, so the rwd is a lot of fun!

I have the Dave F kit planned soon, are the angel eye units better than the stock lights. I found the stock lacking a bit compared to the Integra.

The angel eyes are cosmetic enhancement only. You wire them in in place of your sidelights. The headlights remain the same but if you see Ben at www.chromelinedesign.com he sells lots of BMW specific mods (inc angels) and can supply you with either hyperwhite bulbs or a full HiD conversion.

Progress today.

Have added front and rear strut braces and also some less garish livery.

And now, since stripping off the Le Mans graphics I have added some slightly less garish livery.

Loving that long time, good use of those new Porsche colours and I personly think those M3 wheels are the better ones over the normal 5 split spoke ones.

Any other engine mods apart from the exhaust and K&N?

not yet. eventually. she goes like a missile anyway and the engine is so strong and smooth I am loathed to cock about with anything.
