Hi Nik, welcome to PH wavey

The car looks great, good luck getting it finished! I'm sure there is somebody here that can offer some good advice to you regarding those electrics. smile

tyres are Federal 595RS
there a fairly cheap semi-comp, so far they are gripping good.

Very nice job m8 - looks great. beer

Have you considered an after-market ECU? I've no experience with the standard one, but most of what I've read about it is not complimentary I'm running a Zetec with an Emerald ECU in mine.

likely to go aftermarket one day in the future but for now have spent enough $ on it getting it on the road, i just want it to be driveable and get some more wheel time before chasing hp.

Very nice indeed, I have heard the seats are quite small though, which would maybe put me off a bit a bit.

Looks like it has been put together well thumbup

Looks a beauty! As for the ECU issue, you could try to local dealer - they may find the car interesting and do it as a favour, or you could look towards Dreamscience/SCT Xcal (not sure what it's called over there).

There is an article in this months Practical Performance Car on running a Zetec with the standard ECU - maybe worth a read.
