Yup, it definitely wasn't fit for purpose. At the time I was doing 50,000 miles a year commuting to work.
The engine falling out was the last straw. I sold it to some bloke who pretty much paid the asking price, saying he liked the fact I hadn't tarted it up
I wonder what various recycled metal things it's in now! (they probably dont work either)

:d better than mine..I have an AX 1.1E special edition 'Splash'!! Runs absolutely fine though, and I froze it solid over winter and it restared first time after thawing out!
Some mates of mine have joined me in the 'whats the most appallingly wrong AX Special edition' game...so far it includes 'good times' (yeah right), 'jazz' (should be jizz) and quite bizarrely 'yoghurt'!
