Bought my Supra last August as a totally standard J-Spec. Spent a bit getting it looking like a UK Spec (bonnet, lip spoiler, brakes) and a nice set of deep dish alloys. Then came the biggy, full engine rebuild, spec is:

Balanced Crank
Engine Honed & Decked

New Water Pump
PE Timing Belt & Fan Belt
BL Crank Pulley
Polsihed Fan Belt Pulleys

Built Head
Greddy Polished Inlet Manifold
Q45 Polished Throttle Body
HKS Cams (264 In/Ex)
AEM Cam Gears
Ferrea Valvetrain
Ported Head

Turbo & Exhaust
Precision GT4088R 0.68 A/R
HKS Cone Filter (located in stock SMIC area)
SP Tubular Manifold - Heat Wrapped

HKS DLI
Battery relocation kit

Cooling

Fuel
Precision 880cc Injectors

Aeromotive FPR

Drivetrain
RPS Stage 3 6 Puck Clutch
RPS Cyn-R-G Segmented Flywheel

Brakes (Front & Rear)

Endless CCX Pads
Goodrigde Braided Hoses
5.1 Fluid

Exterior
Racing Hart 19" C4-R with Eagle F1's
OEM UK Bonnet
OEM UK Lip
OEM Side skirts & spats

The project is just about complete, car made 470 bhp @ 0.8 BAR & 570 bhp @ 1.25 BAR (don't know exactly how reliable those figures are as per most dynos) before trouble with the head meant some head work. Once that's done hoping to run 1.5 BAR (maybe 1.6) and getting some fun back from the car.

Cheers Deano, you've got to love the Amuse Supra & the Mines Skyline.

Thanks Steve, yeah I know Ryan from the Supra forum (pity he doesn't touch the AEM I use on mine), top guy

Everyone loves a Skyline. If I had the money I'd have one, ship it to Nizmo and have it come back like Terminator on Viagra.

Car looks sweet mate, nice 1

Thanks for all the positive replies guys,

Sirhc, that's probably bang on the power level I was hoping for, anything over 600 is a bonus for me as I chose the turbo for response rather than outright power,

It is very nice indeed, but does is it really using all those mods to best advantage? My friend's stock engined Supra with just a bigger turbo on makes 560hp on my dyno. It broke one of my dyno's straps last time on.

It does look a lovely car thogh, they have great curves and the engines are silky smooth smile

Cheers trackcar biggrin

You can get away running 500+ on a stock bottom end & head, but IMHO it's pushing the standard parts (most of which are 10+ years old) a little too far. I took the extra steps of the engine & head work as a safety measure to ensure it could cope with a bit more abuse (and it gives the engine a great note biggrin). Most of the other components (again IMHO) are essential for a Supra running over 500.
