spent £1000 reconing the engine. New SVT parts, ex Police ARV so had already been lowered, chipped etc also explains the VERY white paint job, rare on the ST200's. Need a new exhaust... well don't need but want. May go for a Blueflame or go up to MIJ Performance and have a custom done.

Why would you lower a car to take extra weight? Surely you would raise it?

TopGear in Hayes seem to be able to manage custom exhausts. I would keep it pretty standard-looking. Looks subtle at the mo, just as Mondeos should be. Up to you if you prefer a McDonalds special.

It's a Ex Dorset ARV, still got the brackets in the boot where the gun rack used to be. I work for TVP (thames valley police) and some of our cars have upgraded suspension and chips. Usually Traffic and ARV's like someone said. I want a stainless exhaust but keep the bores the same size. Don't wanna Gutter pipe stickin out the back.

I worked for a tuning company sometime back and I know software was written for police vehicles.

Seems a grey area, some people say they do, but alot of traffic police insist they are not.

I saw the pics, and thought it must be an ex plodwagon. Very nice, will take a lot of work to keep smart though. IMHO, white cars are great looking so long as they're immaculate... tricky in Britain. smile

Looking at those photos, it seems to me after the first 3 you realised it was easier to move the camera than moving the car ?!
