Cheers folks
very childish of me but i just could not help myself in posting them pix
It seems to be fairly unique here too, in so much as i have not seen another old "classic" aircooler (or anything pre 993 infact) on the road.
Fantastic to drive, a proper little hooligan, pops and bangs like a TVR, corners like a caterham (almost) and goes like a stabbed rat!
1 month into ownership and i am still completely like a big kid when i drive it!!!
EVERYONE should try a porker once in their life!

I do love you your car John. The more pictures the better. Long may you enjoy the lovely air cooled flat sixyness!
I reckon that plate over the distributer might be a good conversion for Porker owners back in the UK, what with the current monsoon conditions at home.
I'm actually going back next week for a fortnight, after looking at the weather forecast I've been toying with knocking it on the head and roughing it by a pool somwhere else instead!

I suppose I really should go home though, in twelve months i've spent three weeks in the UK.
I think the next time I have some holiday time I will head east, I really do need two weeks of doing nothing and taking it easy.
You know what it's like when you go back to the UK, it's a few weeks of just travelling around visiting people!
