I for one cast aside that categorization and introduce myself as a young Honda driver byebye

Quick intro, live in Norwich, work in Norwich part-time whilst hopefully soon following my dads footsteps into the oil industry, once the neccessary qualifications have been obtained.

Love driving, travelling, getting out of Norfolk, next trip is to the "Ring", never been before, cannot wait!

Some simply stunning automobiles on here, I aspire to own something similar in the years to come.

My car below, one of the very very last of that shape Prelude's (late 1996), 2.2 vtec, cannot get enough of driving it, thats why I spend so much on insurance + fuel. rolleyes Completely standard apart from the wheels, and yes, it does have the infamous 4-wheel-steer cool

Hope you like, comments welcome.

Thanks mate, everyone mentions the dash when they see it, comments range from Knight Rider to the Starship Enterprise laugh

As for the line of work, I am hoping to follow my dads footsteps in HSE, he is based in Atyrau in Kazakhstan (cue "does he know Borat comments" ). Need my IOSH and NEBOSH though, which I hope to obtain in the near future smile Once I get them, he can employ me!

Long way to go yet though, and I'm still not 100% sure I want to definately go down this line of work though, its an awfully large commitment.

Who does your dad work for? My old man is in HSE too, he works in Tengiz, but I'm a mechanical engineer. Funnily enough, I'm currently here in Atyrau, Kazakhstan....

Been here a year.

Thanks for the kind comments. Trip to the ring is in the process of being planned, we're probably looking to due the Ring and into SwissCheeseLand (Switzerland laugh) but thanks anyway for the invite. I simply can't wait to get there.

I shall be in Atyrau in the next few weeks heading out to my boat. Can't crewchange out of there until the river 'opens up'. Sure beats the marathon crewchange through Aktau!

You should let me know when you're in Atyrau, 'mini' PH meet in the Kaz (any excuse for a few beers!)?

I'm heading back to the UK on Wednesday for two weeks though, I need a vacation!

br1tt3n - Does your dad work out at Karabatan on the Kasahagan Project or in the main office in the city? If he has been here a few years he'll probably know my old man.

Ah fellow Lude owner, welcome to the twilight years club!

At least you got the right gen Prelude, I still get people thinking my car is brand new, let alone 12 years old.
