Really starting to appreciate these beauties. Had my heart set on a mk1 but realised these are a bit more feasible. Nicest one i've seen recently - less is more!

Looks really nice.
What did it make on the rollers?
How do ya get on with it bein so low?
I used to find it could be a bit of a pain.
It looks very clean, is it the same under the bonnet?

Cheers for the comments folks.
The number plate is not the original one biggrin
The car is low but thats how i like it, you get used to it but it's not exactly comfortable biggrin
The interior is the original one, but i had it retrimmed in nappa hide.
Cheers again.

Quality job on the re-trim chief.

Mind me asking what the wheels set you back?

I'm considering some BBS love for the Rado cool

I too have gone back to basics and recently bought a Jetta MK2 16v - they are great to own, and your car looks a peach!

That looks great! Nice to see a Mk2 with subtle mods by someone with taste and restraint.

Always liked BBS wheels...

I loved my Mk2 GTI; more chuckable than a chucky thing.

Very nice..
Do like the Monza Blue 16v's

And its nice to see it has the standard doors, so many people change them for the ones without the quarter light..
