need help buying car

hi all

im new to all this so please forgive if this question gets asked alot!!!!!

im after a subaru sti 03 to 54 reg but i dont know what to get either import or type uk???
im always weary about buying imports but have been told its different with these cars and they are better,faster and just as easy to sell on and the servicing is the same.... please help

any info will be appreciated

the insurance is more on imports.
