Hi there, been on the pistonheads forums for a little while although I don't post much. Just thought I'd share some pictures of my latest pride & joy that i've owned for a couple of weeks now.

Thanks!

This is the third or fourth one of these I have seen on PH in the last few weeks, is it as good as they say it is?

My stepdad is looking at the diesel version, same chassis as the cup I believe.

Yeah really happy with it, just starting give it some after running it in for a bit. I used to have a clio 182 (which was great too) so it seemed a natural progression to get the megane. I traded my clio in for it & managed to get a pretty good deal, which made it far cheaper than any of its rivals.

Roy - not driven the diesel version myself, but from reading a review on it in evo magazine they seemed to like it alot.

Looks much better for having the stickers removed from the bumper IMO. Did you remove them yourself?

When ordering you can request to have it with or without the decals. I chose the latter, they just wern't for me!

the R26 looks sweet, not seen one in Silver.

I have a 172 Cup with a few tweeks and will be getting an R26 in black in two months. Can't wait to go GTI bashing.

Is it noticeably quicker than the clio?

If you don't mind me asking how much are you paying a month for it. I get a company car allowance but didn't know whether to go down the PCH route or get a dealer based finance.

Ahh cool, they look great in black! are getting it with or without the decals? I was close to getting it in black, but I wanted a change as my 182 was in black.

The power delivery is different to the clio, much smoother & consistant across the range - not quite as rabid as the clio with the 5k kick. But yeah it is noticeably quicker.

I paid for it outright. after the px of my clio I was left to pay £7600. thats with xenons, met paint & spare wheel.

I normally don't like Renaults (and yes I have owned one! hehe), but that is lovely, and a good leftfield choice. I had a bit of fun against one of these a couple of months back, and christ are they quick!!!!
