Hi everyone, newbie here - been reading the forums for a while now though, just thought I'd share my car with you all.

Alot of people don't like it, I get remarks such as rollerskate and toy car etc etc!.
It's the best car and most fun to drive I've had and I love it.

Details:
1400cc 16v 100bhp
Scorpion cat-back evo-r exhaust
Pipercross induction kit
Lowered 40mm on jamex springs with standard shocks
Rota slipstream alloy wheels in white wearing 195/45/15s
Honda S2000 'stubby' ariel
De-badged bonrath front grille
De-badged tailgate

I love it too smile Looks like its been taken care of wink

Brings back memories of my arosa sport that i had as my first car! Had practically the same mods as yours but it was magic black with arosa sport alloys. They are really fun cars to drive!

I regret selling it now cry

the buurd has just got rid of one of them, it wasnt is nice as that though. Its a better alternative than a 1.4 corsa/106/etc etc i think. especially for a first car!...be honest though, unless your 17/18 it is a bit of a girls car isnt it!?!

Cool, before I bought the Ibiza Cupra I ran around in for a while I had a go of an Arosa that the dealer had put a Polo 16V engine in (basically the same one as the 1.416v that SEAT themselves put in yours eventually) along with a load of mods. It was a scream.

I've just sold my dad's 1.0 one in the same Imperial Blue as yours. I think I would have kept it for definite had it been the spec that yours is!

Thanks for the comments guys,

Im 20 n people often say its a big girls blouse of a car. But what the hell, at the end of the day its a really fun car to drive 100bhp in a light car (850kg) is a good recipe for that.

The debadging game I guess is just to clean things up a bit. I like the look of the grille at the front - and at the back the 'stock' 16v arosa badges looked gash.

Small cars are fun driving - who cares what others think if you like it?

Still hanker for my old Cinquecento Sporting...

only thing that'd put me off it is the safety aspect, but that not a concern i have to this car specifically just small cars generally.
Screw other people, (including me) if you like it thats all that should matter!

How did you work that out, are you an expert on being "gay"???

I think de badging makes a car look less cluttered, and its been a VAG boys and girls mod for years, which is probably where everyone else has copied it from.

Cool looking car 243

Apparently Burgmeister likes a bit of brown love anyway!!

smile

Ben

P.S Small cars are the way forward IMO, there is no way i could afford to or would want to use the Camaro everyday, so i drive a Pug 107 smile

I find your comments to him offensive too, he was only putting up pictures of his car, and being as he is new he didnt expect some numpty coming up with childish comments like you came up with, if you have nothing productive to say then keep your comments to yourself.

Nice looking car there 243, I really like the de-badged rear end.

The human eye find's beauty in symmetry and that rear end is perfectly balanced.

Has anyone ever driven the TDi version of these or the Lupo?

Im not commenting on any rules as i am not an active staff member on this site, i was simply pointing out that you dont have to be so f*cking rude when repling to someones post. And going by your last comments to me, you do sound like a spotty teenager that has no idea of manners or decorum.

Heres one for your tiny brain, how do come tho the conclusion im a troll that lives in a cave, you havnt even met me??

I await your responce

You are a fine one to talk about being rude.

Im not playing God at all, all i was saying is your first post was childish and not a very good example to give to a newbie.

Leave the lad alone, each to thier own, there is no need to go around calling peoples cars gay, it just goes to show your mentality.

If you think im using foul language now, wait till you meet me.

Dont patronise me, and yes, this is quite possibly the most childish site i have been on, ill stick to the Yank forum where people are friendly and not rude, and the Merc forum where people respect my opinions.

And yes, you probably wouldnt want to meet me
