nice clean car but if i was you i would remove the m3 badges on the sides, as people would think you are a m3 wannabee..which you probably could be!

I thought those badges were to denote an M-Tech kit which was a factory option?

It looks dam good to me. I have always has a soft spot for the 328;s. In fact, i prefer them to the E36 M3's.
Erm... E36? It is one.

She looks lovely Ross - congrats on finding a beauty! thumbup

have to say I look forward to watching your progress as it's exactly what I'm hoping to do with mine - when funds allow of course! I'm also of a very similar opinion in terms of keeping it clean and subtle...

talking of which - how much did that remap set you back and where'd you get it done?

also whereabouts are you in london? - I'd love to meet up and compare one afternoon.

Re the M badges - mine is also covered in them - something to do with it being a sport variant I believe from research. Most appear to have been dealer fitted (they're still doing it on the latest variant!), but you'll always get someone who'll dress theirs up, yes I know its 'only' a 328 and shouldn't wear the 'M', but it does share quite a few of the components.. and to be honest I don't see the harm as long as it doesn't have a '3' following the M - those who know their stuff will know what it is..

alternatively you can do the opposite and re-badge it as a 316 which neil bolton's done thumbup - guaranteed to surprise a few people!

enjoy it!

thumbup The 316i badge is a vital performance enhancement for me hehe

The Sport variants such as mine and this chaps one come with the M-Sport bodykit as standard, which obviously will include M badges smile

Mine did have a solitary M badge on its rump when I brought it, but I was frankly mortified at people thinking I had an M3, and consequently rebadged it.

When I get my E46 M3 in a year or so's time, I'll do exactly the same, however I don't think I'll be able to get away with it quite so convincingly biggrin

lol yes neil,it has got a M3 lip spoiler but no,im not an M3 wannabe,i love the 328i power delivery and you are right in saying its not far off the pace of the M3,M3 EVO though is a different story lol,
The 328i sport came with the M logos because it was the sport,Had as standard....M front/rear bumpers,M seals, and the 328i sport also came with AVUS suspension but mine had been changed now anyway,
I wouldnt want to turn it into an M3,The sport is a lovely car ,pulls like a train and does suprise alot of other and even newer cars today.

Is that an m3 rear diffuser aswell?

Very nice car though. Looks to have been looked after. Have you thought about putting a 325 inlet manifold on it? Cheeky easy mod!!!! A friend has done it with great results.

Waiting for the bbtb kit now!
The rear bumper is M so yes it would be identicle to the M3 but this is exactly how the sport rolled out the factory.

I'm going to be teribly rude and ask "how much mister, and what mileage", you can of course not answer, but I would love one of these.
