I'm seeing that with chrome dragster wheels on the front, chromed rears, a deep back paint job with pinstriped flames on the bonnet...

Nice. What a cool project, keep us posted with pics & stuff. Got me thinking about old tractors - I used to love 'em when I was a kid, wouldnt mind one to do up, wonder if I could smuggle one into the garden without the missus noticing? Hmmmm......

it would appear at the last "young farmers" bash some irreverent youth strategically placed a can of fosters lager over the exhaust.

Probably to stop rain ingress and filling up the exhaust manifold & cylinder head with water, perchance?

My thread has arrived! I learnt to drive on one of these. I tried to add it to my profile, but for some bizarre reason PH doesn't have Ferguson tractors so I put under the next best thing- Racing car.

God, that photo brings back some memories-looks exactly the same but ours was a petrol-paraffin.

Good luck with the restoration, My old man and I did the same thing many years ago.
