Alfa GTV Squeeky back end
Discussion

My GTV back end started squeeking at about a year old and 14,000 miles.
Assuming you've checked the shockers then it's probably that your wishbone bushes are shagged. Unfortunately GTV is not built to take being driven to its own handling limits. £400 is not far off the mark, it's a big job. You could try an independent for a quote as you're not warrantied, try >> www.aroc-uk.com/pages/links.html#UKSpec <<.
Same problem here,
My GTV is 18 months old and has nasty suspensions noises front & rear, particularly at low speeds.
Partly due to towing my race car round the place I suspect. Front suspension sounds worse than the rear.
Have decided to replace it with a SUV for the next few years.

I know you`ve posted this on Alfaowner.com but have a look under the Spider/GTV section and you will see some new reccomendations on this subject. An Alfa technician reccomends that you get the bushes checked at every service otherwise you could end up damaging the subframe. Also EB spares are advertising modified rear links for this model to overcome this problem.Tel:01373 823856. www.ebspares.co.uk
