Took some photos today of my TR7 V8 I should have got a V8 sooner, We went for a drive last Sunday, covered 190 miles 50 miles of A and B roads and 140 miles of motorway, not much overtook us and it returned 27 mpg (31.5 ltrs).

More than happy.

I'm waiting for a spec sheet, I owned a 2 Ltr for 12 years in the same colour but with wire wheels, the engine blew up 4 weeks ago so my options were a rebuild, or slot in a V8 or buy one thats already been done.
I loved the other one but I'm a believer in fate so the engine blowing and S+S having this one in, what else could I do, here is a picture of the other one.

It's a 4 ltr Rover unit giving about 260bhp, I will get it on a rolling road soon, some one spent way over the top on this car but their loss is my gain, I lived with the other one for 12 years so I know I won't get bored of this one.

Very nice car mate.

I'm sure you'll have lots of topless fun this summer.

That is a lovely car. I've always had a thing for the Triumph wedges since a friend of my dad bought one over to our house in the eighties. It was a lovely black one.

I bet it makes an awesome noise! smile

A mate of a mate has put a Ford 1800 Diesel in a Tr7, not the best engine swap in the world, fancy driving around in a diesel piece of cheese.

Hope you enjoy the V8, i know i do.
