Well after a winter in the tin shop my 205 is now more or less back to V. Good nick and ready for track days again. I had the decision to make at the end of last year of whether to start with a different shell or get the original repaired as the sills were paper thin and the rear quarters were not looking there best.

Decided to go with sticking to the shell I knew, there was nothing to say any other would have been any better! For a 19 year old apart from the bits mentioned she was pretty solid so at least I now know she's good for many years to come. She had new sills completely with no half measures taken and about 18 inches of metal cut out of the RQP and replaced with fresh metal and professionaly finished so the rot does not come back for many years.

I think the job was worthwhile and she will give me years of joy to come. Still get the smile factor every time I stretch her on a b road, and still suprise quite a few folk. She was actually bought from here about two and a half years ago now and I wouldnt swop her for anything.

In years to come I can see myself settling down with a Spitfire or GT6 but for now I'll relive my youth and keep the retro look going.

Hope you like.

Beautiful - I like these more and more every time I see one. Impending danger for my bank balance, I reckon...
