Here are a few photos of my ZS, it's a bit of a track toy, something to have fun in

Hope it doesn't offend too many people lol.

Had a few changes since christmas, now has camber adjustable wishbones, another bucket in, and I've fitted some shawspeed cams, uprated big end bolts and had a live map at Motorsport Developments in Blackpool..

This was prior to the mapping ,

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?d

Sounds quite good if I do say so

Only has the standard limiter on at the moment, so revs to 6850ish. We had trouble shifting the rev limit, so an aftermarket item will be fitted soon, and the limiter set to 7600rpm..

Unfortunatly my clutch went a day after having it mapped, so I've really not had chance to experience it fully yet, but what driving I did do.. it shifted quite nicely!!!

It has Mondy Mk3 calipers and ST170 300mm brakes, Zoo motorsport adjustable rear beam, Area Six front arms, a few strutbraces and avo coilovers.

Hope you like!

That's a nice looking car! thumbup

Next thing to do is strip out the interior, throw anything away that you don't need (that add's weight), install a roll cage and four point harnesses for a full on track day monster.

I see where the 'dont judge a book by its cover' saying comes from lol

Looks very very nice matey thumbup

Do you have any more vids? Sounds amazing for a fiesta

Have you got any other plans for it?

Well nice.

I really like the Mk5 fiesta Zetecs. So much nicer than the MK6s and Mk4s. I wish I had a Mk5 instead of my 4.
Oh well, fiesta Zetec Mk4 aint bad for a first car.

Thanks for the comments!

Not got any videos yet, only had the car back a day and the clutch has gone to shit lol, so not got to drive it properly.. It shifts though for what it is! And sounds lovely.. huge induction roar due to the cams

Other plans will be cage, oil temp/pressure gauge, then a bit of tidying up here and there I think.. Possibly ditch the 300mms for some 280s with decent calipers.

Thanks for comments Tommo and Ceberus!

Shame about the clutch hope that gets sorted soon!

Should be a funky little car when you finish modding it driving

Could i ask how much it roughly set you back to buy the cams and get them fitted? I only ask as ive been wanting to do this to my Ibiza!

Cheers

Cams and other bits came to around £500, paid £120 for fitting (good friend of mine did it )

And the mapping cost me £375

No point waiting £600-1000 on getting one put in really.

The 1.6 is more capable, and with some ITBs, I'd be nearing 200bhp anyway.

Hi mate, I had a fiesta zetec s with avo coilovers and it was really awesome. It handled brilliantly on the corners and cause it was quite light it felt really chuckable. But its gone now and I still miss her, Boo hoo!!!
