NU NU , 888 didnt make a Estate version lol , between you and me its a tad faster than the 888`s , its running the DTUK green system turned up to 9:30 ( small dial for where the power comes in ) Rolling road @ Regal southampton 3 mnths ago , the 888`s are a bit miffed that the 1.9 CDTi 16v can achieve this with a green system , plus there is more to come but its all under development at the mo , hoping for induction in the near future but again , under dev

for a load lugger ...its a bit of an animal , specialy with the sport button on and a heap load of Torque

as for proving 0-60 times , i cant , but we have had Estates at the pod running the same spec and they have returned extremely good times in the quater

also i am a Regional Organiser for the South Central section of the AstraOwnersNetwork which caters for 888`s VXR`s and all Mks of Astra`s and timed 0-60 runs from members returns anything from 6.8 to 7.2 .... either way we are happy and looking forward to the future

Diesel is indeed catching up. Mine has 210bhp, 475NM of torque and silly mid-range grunt for a family saloon. Doesn't stop me wanting a petrol though, and I'll never be a true diesel fan until the noise they make can be eliminated and replaced with a petrol soundtrack!

So its a diesel!!!It looks quite nice, but i don't really like Vauxhalls. Why didn't you buy the petrol version?

Because he doesn't want to bankrupt himself for a small sacrifice in performance.

it would be , its his show piece , mine is a work car that goes on and off building site carparks , i fell in love with the thing and its now what it is , a work car and play car , now i hate going on site as it gets covered in dust and crap and most the blokes there would quite happily lean a shovel on it at least

why not buy petrol ...are you kidding , anyone that does alot of miles unless there rich wont use petrol , at 60 mpg it suits my pocket very nicely and goes well when i want to play

downside is the noise , i would love a decent exhaust note , but its a small sacrifice
