Here are a few pics of my recently finished project (yes, I know they're never finished) It's fitted with a standard (for now) M90 3.5 ltr block giving arround 200 bhp, 5 speed box and lsd. All the suspension has been stripped, painted +poly bushed and the body has received a new floor, new roof (without sunroof) rear wheel tubs, new boot floor to my own design, aluminium opening panels from a CSL (homologation special) stripped interior, buckets + harnesses and a home made 10 point cage picking up from stressed points of shell. The bumpers were removed and during the build all the mounting holes welded up. In an effort to keep the weight down no sound proofing has been fitted, now journeys up the motor way necessitate the use of ear plugs! It's difficult to say exactly how much weight has been saved as the literature I've read gives conflicting information howerver with a half tank of fuel with no driver it weighs in at 1300 Kg exactly so thats about 1260 Kg dry weight. Depending on who you belive the total weight saving is between 150-200 Kg.
