You'll love that car.

And you'll learn some good mechanic skills too cos it WILL go wrong.

I'll have another Mi16 one day. clap

Is your old one a GT? Whatever it is, looks mint for its age and I like the colour too.

Of all the motors i've driven over the years, a non-PAS equipped 205 GTI remains the benchmark for front wheel drive cars as far as steering feel and feedback are concerned. These Peugeots are just such fun to hussle around.

Great looking motor car, I would dearly love to have one as a daily driver (unfortunately the fiancee can't drive manual) banghead

Sounds like you need a Peugeot 205 Gentry (1.9 Auto). They only had 105 hp from a lower compression 1.9 block but would be a decent platform for a 130hp 1.9 transplant or even a Mi16 if the gearbox was up to it? I think all had leather interior, full electrics and 15inch Speedlines too.

They don't all go wrong! Apart from a burst coolant hose, mine has never let me down in the last 3 years and not cost me a penny beyond normal servicing costs, or required any work to pass the MOT. Not bad for a 14 year old motor!

no the blue one was a 1.1 gl with steering wheel, seats, front bumper and wheels taken off an xs.
it was mint i sold it three years ago with a genuine 50k on the clock, for a c reg car that's pretty low.
the colour was wedgewood blue.

i've owned the gti for nearly four years now, it's broken down three times all within a mile of my house and twice because of electrical faults.

I had two XS' the first was my first car and I subsequently binned it in a rather spectacular fashion (My first taste of Lift off oversteer). I love them though, I always wanted a 1.9 GTi but seeing as my current car would probably make it feel a bit "naff" in comparison i'll leave that for another time.

Lovely car thouh mate, get some 1.9 rims on it. (In fact i've got a set that need a refurb but have excellent tyres on going at a silly price, pm me )
