Gotta have a smeely tree in it at the moment as the stealers sprayed some new car smell c*ap in it and it gives me a headache !!! As for the gaff, quick nip up the road and took these, security came round as Lord March doesnt like people taking pictures of his house, i said to the security bloke i just wanted and nicer background than just a driveway, he was fine with that and we had a chat for about an hour. Engine wise its a 2.0 Turbo, 225bhp and 221b-ft, 0 - 60 it states 6.3 but it feels quicker ?? should get up the Pod with a GPS really, got full leather climate control etc etc so its got creature comforts too
gaotta say i have seen them in the flesh and in a similar way to a few 80's cars in reality it is t put it politley butt ugly. but at the same time very cool. good choice. what does it drive like. i enjyed the old 172 and thought it was a cracker for the money, are thes noticably biggger to chuck around?
Driven WRX's and like them alot, just a bit common for my likings !! The ride in the meg is fine, bit hard at times but she sits on 18's so what do you expect, traction is fine, powerdelivery is lovely, get down to a dealer and ask for a test drive, it wont disappoint. The Meg is fast in its class too, beats the VXR, Civic Type R, Focus ST etc etc, the R26 is popular at the moment with 230nhp and an LSD, have a nose around on the forum @ www.meganesport.net, ask there and you will get loads of feedback, see if anyone lives nearby who will demo for ya !!!
Fair cop !! there are other videos out there that show the opposite result to that, at the end of the day they are both nice cars and i refuse to get in to one of those waste of time "my car is better than yours" debates, i prefer the Meg to the Astra, probably cause i know a guy with an Astra VXR and he never shuts up about the thing and how he's beaten Porsches etc, in the real world both cars on a public road are gonna be even stevens and any differences down to the driver. Like i said before, both stunning cars and definitely wolves in sheeps clothing
