Exactly what he said ^^^^^^^^^
Now i really do like these although i don't know too much about them. That does look like a fine example sir. Please tell us that you've spent a lot of time getting it like that.
Its an in life project! 30 years old and need of plenty of TLC. It wasn't like this when I bought it 3 years ago but plenty of polish abd a small fortune later its getting there.

totally agree. I really like the contrast between the (dare i say it) angular 70's lines of the Fezza and the moden wheels. I think the balance is quite nice. The car, to me obviously, is super in a way that a moden Fezza cannot be.
I want one !
....Now grabs coat and runs for the door after saying moden Ferraris are not cool

Nick,
Hope you don't mind sir but i like it that much i've saved the images as my desktop picture !
No Problem!
If you PM me i can send you some high res ones, just tell me which ones you like.
I was worried about the wheels, I did not want to bling it up too much, but equally did not like the original 70s wheels.
The car has no power steering and the 60 profile P7s were a nightmare to drive with. Prior to my ownership the car was a Donnington track car owned by a bunch of guys in Oxford, so the wheels were smaller than spec at 15". This meant acceleration was blistering but top speed fell. It also meant that you could not drive over anything at all. Even a can in the road would scratch the skid pan. The 18" rims have transformed the ride, smooth, more responsive and much easier to steer at low speed.
The only other mod has been to the engine, the original distributor and ignition system has been replaced with a programmable ECU set which means that I can run two ignition curves (say one for track and one for road) although I haven’t bothered and just run one (you guess which one ;-).
If you like the noise it makes there is a good video on youtube of it being tuned.

Lovely car, looks great! The modern wheels seem to suit it quite well. I saw it in Practical Performance Car a while back...
Yeh, there's a lesson to be learnt with that lot!
They appologised afterwards for the story, but said they have to slag cars off as that's what sells the mag. They even credited my car to the wrong person..
Ah well got some nice photos of it
