Well, It started life like this last October,

So, I thought it looked a bit boring really, Quite old fashioned with the awful orange indicators etc.

Tinted the rear lights and had other little things done,

Thought they looked a bit gash, so got myself some MK5(6N2) Rear lights, with a bit of modification they fitted nicely, Also, Supersprint Cat-back, Colour coded Parts, Debadged, Black 'B' Pillars.

Then proceeded to lower the car 60mm on Shocks&Springs, along with clear indicators etc.

My next stage was to change the wheels from the scuffed up standard alloys; Bought some BBS 16's. Felt they were too big and scrubbed way to much.

Whilst waiting for another set I ran some Steelies, Thought they looked quite good actually.

Then got another set, This time some 15" BBS RA's coated in Falken rubbercool,

Changed my exhaust again, This time for a Stainless Steel Peco system.

And Finally This is how it stands today,

And I love it! I feel I've kept well clear of 'the barry' and 'laxpower' scene and just improved the car overall as how it was in my eyes

Looks nice! Seem to be a lot of Euro style mk.4s around now, not Barry at all imo

Might take well to a bit of tinting? Only a few% though.

Looks mighty nice with the black wheels.

Fantastic stuff, it's so refreshing to see tasteful moding like this to a car which might otherwise be associated with crashing into halfords!

Nice, inspirational - I'll have to put up a similar thread myself about my humble smart.

Like yourself, I feel I've been tasteful!! You've certainly succeeded in my eyes, very tidy looking car.

I stuck with smart parts to keep it looking stock but with a slight twist. thumbup
