I can't see a roll cage! is there one? if not then I would suggest the very next thing you do before anything else is to fit one as you have fitted buckets and harnesses!! bottom line being you roll with buckets and a harness you die,or at best end up crippled in a wheel chair! yes i know it's a blunt statement but you should never really fit buckets seats and harnesses without a roll cage!

Why? i dont see what the difference is between normal seats and buckets/harnesses in a roll over?

What absolute crap! Sorry buddy but it's the other way around. Don't fit a cage without buckets but buckets and harnesses are a million times safer than a lap belt!

if you roll and are fastened in to a bucket seat with harnesses, what's the first thing that collapses? yes,the roof! and if your held fast by a harness in a bucket seat the only thing that will stop the roof collapsing is your head/neck! if you roll in a normal seat/seatbelt your body/you will be able to get lower due to being less restricted

Totally agree, and, in that situation on the basis that you are still concious a standard seat belt will be easier to un-do. Been there and lived to wear the t-shirt ! Should never have buckets / harnesses without a cage.

What happened? What car?

Many, many years ago parked a VW beetle on it'e roof, fortunatly both my passenger and I were a little bruised but not badly hurt. Once you regain composure, un-do the seat belt and land on your head, (was dark!) then squeeze out through the remnants of the crushed door, you may appreciate that trying to un-do harnesses in that situation would not be ideal.
