Hello,

Thought I would post this by way of introduction. I'm a regular of MBClub forums, despite never having owned a Merrrcedes Benz, and now have partly defected here due to the superior craic!

I have just purchased my new car from a fleet auction for a song. I wholly resent the assertion that Audi is the new BMW, having had one of those in the past. I'm DEFINITELY not much of a tosser, so there...

So here it is, my 2003 Audi A4 2.5TDiSE. 6 speed manual. Loving the torque! But now with itchy feet, want a Sport Quattro...

Please all look forward to ill-advised rants aplenty from my direction. Good to meet you all!

And before anyone starts, I am a calm, considerate but progressive advanced driver. So there...

Sam

Hello!

Nice car, my mate has just bought a 2.0 TDi S Line A4. He loves it. They definatley look best in dark colours.

How long before you get the Quattro then?

Well, my car is now in the classifieds here, and also due to go on e-Bay today so, providing I can make some money on it to make it worth my while, as soon as it sells really! I did see a really nice one on e-bay which has now sold, but it had 125k on it. For a £10K 3-year old car, that's even a bit much for me...

And if anyone's interested, purely because of my itchy car feet...

Nice car.

Btw, if you're going to blot out the reg on PH, i reckon its even more neccessary to do so on ebay.
Good luck for the sale anyway.

Oh, well done...

I just blot out the reg automatically because of my profession. However, I have now noticed the offending letters on the V5 picture and edited accordingly.

Nothing agains the good people of PH you understand

Hello,

I'm interested to know whether the MPG figure given in this polaroid is an additional feature or just one I've not found. confused
I have a similar vintage A4 but I only have the range in miles displayed - I've tried every button/switch I can find but that's all I get. I was used to the Beemer with range, ave. mpg, current mpg, etc. but cannot find out how to cycle through the options in the (darn) Audi!

Don't got one of those. Must be an option the original owner didn't specify.
