Has anyone bought a brake kit from Godspeed??
Discussion
Hello all,
i'm looking into upgrading the brakes on my Dax Rush. Godspeed have some quite reasonably priced kits, but i'm wondering how they compare to similar spec kits that are a lot more money. Any ideas??

Where as I can't paid my money in April, Still waiting in July. Numerous phone calls/e-mails all met with excuses.
In the end found a much more local company that made me a kit up quickly and with no trouble.
Still fighting with Godspeed for a refund but it looks like legal actions going to be the only way to get my (not insubstantial) sum of money back.

Bad luck mate, i ordered mine one week for collection the following week, and i buggered about not knowing what type of brake fittings to have on the hoses (had to send pictures in the end!!).
I think that someone always has a bad experience wherever you go, Hi-spec a prime example lots of good and bad things said about them too.
I feel for you, i've got to think about legal action with a company called pug parts over a damaged (new) radiator they supplied and refused to collect or refund (probably a bit less cash involved though!)
In the end you're always taking a chance with mail order companies i think, although some are more trustworthy than others.
Good luck

I agree with you entirely. One of the things that put me off Hi-Spec was the mixed messages I'd got about them, Godspeed on the otherhand only had a couple of bad reports.
Wish I'd have listened to them first. I'm going to pop into Godspeed next time I'm around that way as he's blatantly ignoring my Mails, Phone calls and letters. Its a shame it has to come to this really as the bloke obviously knows his stuff. Luckily we've got a good legal department at work (comes with the territory ).
Cheers
