hi
the first few pics were taken at around 8pm at night, was detailing the whole day, so didnt want to lose the shine quality etc. the rest were done very early morning, the sun was just coming out, its pretty dark due to the shade from the houses there.
will have to take some more pics out in the open soon
i did the revo, stage 1 then stage 2, its not that bad, better than all the others i have tried.

Heres some pics of my new pet project, going to stick a 1.8T or if possible a 2.0T, may even be a diesel engine.
Needs a bit of work, car was washed only once in the last 4 years i was told (shameful that, so much neglect), theres a bit of rust near the sunroof, passenger front door doesnt need changing so one less worry, needs a new clutch which i should have today, the drivers window regulator/motor was nicked, nothing there, thought it may be broke at first, radiator needs to be refitted, central locking pump works, but the back doors dont open so will have to check that.
In a few weeks this should be looking pretty good, have not used claybar on it yet, really really needs it, car shines already, but will shine more. door strips are all good just need new clips and grommets. fog lights and side lights should be here today. Saturday i start on the wheels, all the laquer is peeling off and loads of scuff marks, going to completely remote the paint and take it from there.
When i got it, i couldnt really tell what colour it was, the car was covered in dirt, 4 years of neglect does not do any car any good. Anyways, interior is spotless, just needs the seats to be washed, so will be removing them and using pressure wash or the washing machine.
Engine has done 71k genuine, and cant wait to see the finished article. Once i have everything sorted as standard, will have to source the S3 engine. Though in two minds still, either convert this or keep it as its good as it is. Still want to do a conversion so may be looking at another MK3.
