Wow - that is fantastic.

Brings back memories of being a very small child, dad had a W reg XR3 (not even the 3i) when I was born and kept it till I was about 3 yrs old. I cried when he sold it and have always had a thing about the mk3 and mk4 Escorts.

Kinda very loosly fulfilled my dream of owning one when I bought a 1.6 Sport (mk4, kinda like a 3i but without the "i" and plenty of other bits, poor man's 3i really!) from a mate back in 2000. Even though it was quite a shitter (I was the 9th owner and the milage/history was dubious to say the least), I still miss it becasuse of what it was and what it represented.

When I see ones like yours and tasty ERST's on the road, I can't help but dribble somewhat

Thanks for sharing the pics thumbup
