Saw the light & got rid of the Metro race car & bought this.

She is totally mint, ltd edition Mini Classic Cooper, one of 250 of the last non fatpack Coopers.

Very, very nice!

Always loved these. I remembered a friend of mine having one years ago and taking me out in it. The handling and the way it went round corners was just unbelievable. Sooo much fun! Great car!

Gorgeous car, I had no idea how cheap the last of the Coopers had become, it was only a couple of years ago they were changing hands for £8k!

I think I got lucky with finding this one, saw one sell recently in a dealer in worse condition £ more miles for £4995.

LGN How come you've got rid of the Mighty Metro?

I was lookingforward to seeing your progress this year with the work you had put in, or did one of those unforseen things crop up?

Either way, fantastic motor...hope you're slinging it up the hill

Family had to take priority over racing I'm afraid, so we bought something we will all enjoy.
