Clearly the hardcore 'anti Pimped rides' brigade havent found this one yet.
Youve clearly put a lot of work into that though.

Not my cup-of-tea but if it floats your boat then fine, you've obviously put a lot of work into it, and surely pouring your heart into cars is what this place is all about. What's with having the seats raked back at 45degrees though?

I feel the Pistonheads members are holding back a little. Your car is being discussed more openly and frankly here... http://tinyurl.com/ywzjqo

Whats with covering half the headlight over with the "hood", surely the engineers at Hella never calculated their light output and spread with half a baked bean can welded over their glass lens.
Other than that, I like the colour, vdubs are one of the few cars that can take subtle modifications, but old Beetles take them best.

Not my cup of tea at all but respect is due to the work thats gone into it, was it meant to end up looking like that

May I also say how impressed I am with how the people of PH's have restrained themselves from the usual ridiculing of Lax Power type conversions.

Although it's not something that I would want to own, you have to admire the work that has gone in to it, everybody has to start somewhere, and it's a damn sight better than some of the modded cars on the road, combat kitted, flip painted, roof spoilered, Lambo doored, tribal graphic'd 1000cc hatch's.
I'm sure the lad will learn a lot from the comments on this thread and although disheartened, will go on to produce stunning cars in the future, lets face it everybodys taste is different and if people did not experiment with automotive design, then we would all be driving around in green Morris Minors or beige Beetles

its banana mans car!

personally i would have saved all the money spent on it, and just bought a nice car to start off with....

all that money, wasted! i dont understand 'modders' they'll never get that money back they spent on it!

oh and the colour coded air freshener.... is pure class (or maybe that should be Klass)

Funny - it's always the less intelligent ones without a sense of humour who think like that.
