I had one of the slightly Q car Jetta's back in the early '80's in Inari Silver - a light green metallic colour. It was the Mk 1 Jetta with the Golf GTi 1600 engine and 5 speed box but for some reason it was badged Gli. It was a great family car because of the huge boot, could swallow all the family's luggage with ease, yet had the performance of the hatch. I don't think I have seen one in many a year - Golf's yes, but the Jetta equivalent no. Any one else seen one of late?
