Hello there, cant remember if ive shown you lot pics of my rides so here goes.

My baby, a standard mk1 Golf GTI, 1983 a year older than me, shes at home in the garage til easter, when the roads will no longer be salty!

And my 1985 Shatlook Polo 1.1 webber carbed monster, with her latest paintjob
from this:

to this:

Now this:

She is dying, misfires like a bitch when cold, and rarely goes into 4th gear, and since she had the total of 4 forward gears that is a wee problem!

yup damned right!

My dads been looking after it, and he's blatantly in love with it always hearing he just took it out for a spin etc, haha!

The polo has taught me alot thou, its not all about power, tis about maintaining speed, had a bit of a play with a talentless chav in a corsa today, wooped his ass on the twisties

Have actually become attached to the polo aswell, i kinda wanna keep it to play with her when i get some money, but that being said its alot wiser to invest it in the golf-bare metal respray to her original silver, and some coilovers and then she will be perfect!

I'm a massive fan of that Golf. So rare to see a mk1 that is standard looking and in decent nick. Full marks my friend!

hehe thanks! took a while to find one in that condition, but it paid off! all thoughts of modifying her have long gone, and ive become an anorak, so i think one day i will have to buy a more common car to Euro Style up!
