How much is your budget?
What about running costs?

Money no object I'd but a 959

Wanna spread the love and buy me an E36 M3?

was there any doubt to begin with?

you win the lottery you celebrate with friends and family... you dont sign up to a forum and ask random strangers what car to buy..

PLus if you win that amount, do you go out and spunk 20% of it on a car and bike that are going to depreciate like a stone?

I probably would... but the Mrs would kill me

Its alot of money but it's not gonna see you through - however you are still a lucky sod! I'd buy a Noble and invest the rest

It may well be bollox but it's a fun game. If I had any sense* I'd put all but £50k of the £ in the bank, take 3% pa (if that sounds low, think about inflation), and buy a different 'oh, you don't want one of those, it'll bankrupt you if it breaks' car every six months, knowing that I didn't need to worry if it did break and that I could cover its routine costs without worrying about it.

But, then, I sold my company and spunked my 'wealth' on -

maybe a westfield xtr2. Standard power is circa 170bhp. Engine from a hayabusa bike. I would get the engine rebuilt and a turbo bolted on and aim for circa 400bhp. Reckon that would be nicely terriyfying and a fun way to die.

Then a nice smooth waftastic luxo barge to tow your death machine. Maybe a secondhand E55 AMG or Range Rover. I would lean towards the RR as it would wind up lentilists.

or and most likely, i would look at some exotica. Maybe a Ferrari F40. Would give you something to sell if the worst happened ($$). Would be fun going to ferrari events and shows etc.

If i had an f40 in my garage then i most definetly would buy the crappest car i could find. something like an old yugo. Would be a nice juxtapostion between the f40 or other 'decent' cars you own. Would be rather satisfying, when inevitably, someone sneers at your yugo, knowing you have a rather tasty f40 parked in your garage.

fun game

I would be straight on the phone to Mercedes Benz Classic in Fellbach to ask if they had any SECs (with airbags) that have just been rebuilt. I would then ask them, how long would it take them to get it ready and I'd be on the 1st plane to Stuttgart to collect it.

Then I would phone the guy who has the Sauber Mercedes C9 chassis 5, how quickly could he get it shipped/flown to Scotland. www.mercedes-sauber-c9.com/?ppc=Google&name=mercedes%20c9

Then I would crack open a bottle of champagne, while sipping on high-quality champers I would phone the bank up and wipe out all my student loan debts and the rest of the family debts.

Alot of time on the phone but it'd be worth it.
