Hi i'm Nick, I joined up after browsing the site now and again

Sorry they're not ferrari's or anything as extravagant, but here are my cars !

Ford Fiesta Xr2

totally standard, original Car. It has 32k on the clock. It's got a FSH; serviced every 6 months from new by Ford. I have every single bill, receipt, documentation, service receipt, Tax disk, Mot certificate from new !

I don't use it much, just waiting for it to be garaged soon. Overall, a great little soon-to-be classic car !

Vauxhall nova 1600T40

This was my first car, started life as a 55hp 1.2 Carb. I've upgraded most parts, and it's now a competition Spec 1.6 8v on 40's. It's starting to be used as a track car, but it still runs full weight/interior as it get's used as a road car too !

Bay has been Stitch Welded, The engine was built by a local motorsport outfit. Consisting of a full bottom end rebuild, Headwork, Cam, Exhaust, Carbs e.t.c It's recently Achieved 142/145 bhp on a local RR !

All comments Welcome !

Not a Nova fan but can appreciate the time and effort you've put into it.

The XR2 is sweet though!

Still think the MKII XR2 is a great looking car. I ran a diamond white one for a while a couple of years ago and had loads of laughs in it. Black's definitely the colour for them though - my mum had one new in 1988 - E983FRX.

I had to look twice at that XR2. Sooooo shiny and pretty, A real gem of an example, Really nice. It already is a classic. Low milage too.

Not really a Nova fan but it looks like a nice example. A bit of a relief from all the halfordsones 140 bhp is not a shameful figure, especially with how much little weight it has.

Thanks for the replies !

The XR2 is very very Clean. It's got two rust spots under each headlamp, which is the only blemish on it ! I'm going to garage it soon when my mum moves house and then i'l get it undersealed and do some rust prevention work !

The nova was my first car, bad colour, slow and crap. But i never ever thought they'd be so much fun to drive. I've put about 2.5k into the engine, and it's fantastic. It's a reletivly mild spec (power wise) so there's more to go !

The XR2 looks great. I'm not a big fan of Nova's but yours looks cool. Tasteful styling mods and twin DCOE's.

Love the XR2 mate, that is a real show car you've got there, there arn't many left now (especially good ones) compared to when there was one on every street corner.i had one for nine year and only just let her go as i had no room to keep her anymore.
