Just saying a quick hello, and adding to it with some gratuitous picture whoring

My daily driver and occasional track weapon is an old Gen2 Honda Integra XSi. It was the range topper in the generation prior to the DC2 ITR, and never sold in the UK). I think of it as the ITR's bendier, rattlier, slightly slower and bad tempered father in a way

When i bought the car, it was at std height (think 4x4) with ricy rear lights and 17" wheels. over the last 2 years I've nearly got it to where i want it.

chassis:
E-tech front upper strut brace
DC sports rear lower tie bar
DC2 Integra Type R rear 22mm anti-roll bar
EM racing rear upper strut bar (rear trunk bar & triangulation bar awaiting fitting when i weld some brackets in)
Currently on a mixture of Ohlins adj dampers and GAZ coilovers with custom springs. It will shortly end up with the Ohlins and Eibach sportlines all round:
front: 1.8" drop, 457lbs/in
rear: 1.5" drop, 171-257lbs/in

wheels/brakes:
15 x 6.5" CE28N Volk Racing copies
Toyo T1-R x4 (want something stiffer next)
Braided Lines, Dot4, Black Diamond pads (larger Prelude calipers & disks awaiting fitting)

engine:
JDM B16A (170PS as std, with different cams & higher comp than the UK B16)
Fujitsubo Super-Ex Ex manifold
OEM 2.25 tubing all the way back with aftermarket Decat
Spoon drop in filter, modified airbox with resonator removed
Viscous LSD

Plans for the future include a new gearbox with close ratios, a more aggressive LSD and maybe conversion from cable to Hydro clutch. Removal of the crap ABS. Some sort of major power hike... >>

Onto some pics...

When i first bought it:

getting there:

current state:

I'm also lucky enough to have an old, pretty much concourse M3 Evo, which is absolutely standard. Even more shocking is the mileage, which is still only just approaching the 5k mark!! It was bought from a friend of my old man with 2k on the clock, and yes, I checked with the main dealer who's MOT'd it every year to verify the mileage It even still has the running in warning stickers on the inside of the windscreen!

This car will be up for sale very soon, as i can't justify running both and storage is an issue for the M3, with my not having my own secure off-road parking currently. It's an awesome car, and has just had all fluids replaced with top grade stuff (Motul race-spec fully synth 0w40 engine oil, Dextron 3 gearbox oil, BMW sourced stuff for the M-Diff at £37 per litre!). I'm just glad to have owned and spent some time with one of the cars I promised myself 10 years back

If you're interested keep your eye on the classifieds here.

ta for looking!

ta all (not many people know what a DA is johnston, props full code is DA6 for the b16 )

re: the bimmer, i don't know really, it's a tough one

i've talked with a few people, inc Munich Legends.

I've been keeping a close eye on the classifieds, and mint condition coupes with v.low (ie 30-40k) on the clock seem to be asking up to around 12-13k tops.

I think the mileage and condition must give it a bit of a premium, so I'll be putting it up at 16k i think, and see what offers I get... I don't think you could buy many other 321bhp RWD luxury GTs with 5k on the clock for that money

yeah think the da5 was the twin carb 1.5, even rarer again. there's also a DA9 (USDM) and a few others i think for the 4 doors as well
