Ive recently purchased this 1980 Holden Commodore, based on an opel Commodore with a senator front end. It was imported from australia in 98 and has been sat since 2003, during the time stood the bodyworks not really suffered but unfortunately the 4.2 chevy V8 engine has seized. However my plan is to pull the engine out, fit a 5.7 Chevy V8 which will mate up to the auto box, fit a shift kit, new manifolds/exhaust, change the cam, rockers etc, fit a holley carb and possibly nitrous (hoping for 370-400brake)! Other than having the suspension lowered and uprated, uprating the brakes and generally minting the bodywork etc. Not sure how long this transformation will take..... watch this space!

If the engine has siezed due to standing..it may free up with some diesel down the spark plug holes/bores...then tow it....Best of luck with it`s transformation...
