205 Mi16x4

Our fun and games of trying to fit a 4x4 system to our 205 mi16!!
This is our on going project, getting there slowly no major problems as yet just funding troubles. At the moment we are just finalizing the front 405 subframe to fit perfectly in place, not aa harder task as was first though all seems to be going a bit too well! The engine is in pieces at the moment awaiting reconstruction and up grade, concentrating on drive train and body work for the time being until funds allow engine playing again! I shall keep this updated as we progress and update pictures.

Nice project.

Hear of Mi16 engined 205's but not M16x4'd 205's

You going the whole 405 T16 in a 205 Gti thing which would be seriously silly and grin inducting, or you gonna go the bodies/cams route on the Mi16 engine?

The plan is to go for boddies, cams, solid lifters, the lot. Its going to be just for the track so will be high lift really wild cams. Might one day make a turbo out of the original 1.9 engine 16v head and a turbo but too many projects at the mo so cant start that one yet!!!
