So what do we all use to get that paint work looking the Dog danglies? a few suggestions would good at the moment i'm using MER and it does exactly what is says on the tin!!!

The best thing about MER is you can use it wet or dry and in sunlight even though the shines good there's got to be something which justtakes it that step further and gives you the showroom finish my laguna is metallic black and looks superb with a decent shine on it but could it be better??

I dont usually bother with was/ploish etc, I just blast my cars with a jet wash twice a year and leave it at that.

But if you want a showroom finish, get in touch with this chap. Mr OCD. Which stands for Obsessive Car Detailing thumbup

www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=230442

He has done some pretty impressive stuff, and recommends the very best products to give the very best results

edit: He has a website too

I think the Mothers system works well on black cars yes

It's a good price, too.
