Apart from the colours, I like it alot!

Fast rovers seem to be very underated cars these days, although there have been a couple of Ti's and Tomcats popping up on here recently which is nice to see.

What's the power/weight ratio?

Mt Metro racer is currently sitting at 170bhp/tonne, soon to go up to 223bhp/t with a little luck.

around 230-300 depending on boost pressure etc
probably will be more like 230 for trackdays -more for santapod etc

must be a quick little metro! is it 1800vvc powered?

Looking liek a standard coupe is no bad thing, especially when you have almost twice the standard power to catch people out with.

But then again, if they are the race colours it does give the car some pedigree. Its just unfortunate that 99% of people won't recognise that and respect what it is!

Welcome to PH.
Nice car but I’m biased.

What work was needed to make it road legal?
In the first pics it looks like you have the Targa roof. Is this just covered up on the race cars?

Glad you lost the spots!

He only won a few times this year, now that Evo's, Scoobies and the ever dominant Audi Quatro of Keith Murray is on the scene (sold it for this year though!)
But there is nothing like watching Gary Prebble at the wheel giving it 200% and countering understeer by just understeering even more!!!
Video of him at work here, www.racecar.net/castlecombeforum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1385

Had to get it get build confirmation from rovers etc to take to dvla to get registration etc (obviously thats no longer possible).

Roofs needed frames etc to take original glass roofs etc originally thay were steel panels bolted in place.
Centre console is differant from original (although I still have this in my loft!
I have softly springs, lights, no elec cut or auto extinguisher etc also had to have normal seat belts at the time.
Battery is now in the boot (before it was in car)
