i see someone has posted their Ti on here so i thought i would do the same!!

i have many more pikkies but wont over do it! lol

i have had the car up for sale this week, but have thought about keeping it for the rest of winter.

i have plans to get a skyline/pulsar/evo/M3 etc next year.

i hope you are gentle with me.

and mine is better than steves ( calibrax ) car and he knows it lol.

mine has lots of mods and is pushing out 225.3bhp and 233.7ft/lbs of torque at 12.5psi.

nope, still don't get it. The perfect Q-car to totally baffle supposed sports car drivers and then blinging alloys and mods to make it stand out. Sorry.

On a more positive note, respectable bhp figures

I still remember my Ti fondly and the embarassed TT driver who suffered his fate in the hands of me on my way to work one day. Oh, and the Vectra Sri who thought he would show me a thing or two.

thing is, all i have done externally is the alloys, lowered and the splitter.

still takes everyone by surprise when they hear the turbo stall

I did the opposite. Put diesel badges on it, a caravan club sticker in the rear window and a box of tissues velcroed down on the parcel shelf.

Think I've seen this one somewhere before...?!

Have to say I'm not a fan of the wheels either but as is said over and over - what matters is that you like it!

I too love surprising people in my Rover

I must echo the above comments.

Ace sleeper, but the wheels almost ruin it

I had TSW's on my *cough couch* saxo *cough* and they must be made of a lead alloy, as they were so heavy and soft it was unbeleivable. I ran quicker quarter mile times with the stock wheels with budget tyres than 15in TSW with Toyo's.

Still a great car though, top work thumbup

cheers. to be honest, i had a set of 17's but didn't really like them. i then bought a set of vitty alloys and thought it looked too ordinary, so i managed to to get these for a good price and with a set of yokohamas with just 800 miles on them, it was worth it just for the tyres.

these were the wheels i had on before.....

tbh. i don't have any issues regardind acceleration or speed 0-60 around 6.5 secs and with about 14 psi i have seen 160mph on the speedo. i did a 1/4 mile run at the pod last month but with too much boost i got nothing but clutch slip..... i still did a 16.5sec 1/4 mile though!!
see here...
http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?d

i might change them again but i expect to have sold her by then!!

Shhh, that was only in the car for when required

Like Batty's, mine had the stealth tow bar and although the black looked better, I decided grandad green was order of the day for the proper understatement.

I like those ones

Its a nice car either way, but my limited experience with TSW's will always make me weary of them

Are those Rovers 4x114.3 pcd?? I know some are the same as a Nissan 200SX S13? You could get some sweet as Jap import wheels for it if thats the case

yes they are. in fact the TSW's were off a prelude.

there are a few cars with the same fitment but its the bore that varies.
and the offset of course.

cheers for the comments guys, hopefully my next car will be more to your tastes? lick

Sorry, I came across as a bit of a knob there

I think the cars cool thumbup

But, if it were mine, I'd go with those Vitesse wheels yes

And the S13 has the same offset, but the centre bore is 2mm bigger.

not a problem mate. i know most rovers are an aquired taste and modifying them is even more personal and specialised for others to like.

95% of my mods have been for performance gains, the bigger turbo, uprated gearbox, new clutch, better performance brakes, lowered, performance air filter, modified grille, better breathing back box.

the splitter and alloys are really the only "external" mods. i didn't want to start piling crap on top of crap.

i do have trouble convincing people its a bloody good car, and tbh i am getting tired of trying to shake people up by driving like a nutter at times to prove the point!!

if i get a skyline or evo or pulsar or M3 next year, the car will speak for itself. silly
