does sound a tad on the expensive side for 800bhp R33 GTS-T... Would have thought £30k tops.

Hi fellas

It's always hard to put a value on a car but at the end of the day it's not a typical skyline is it!
Build costs far far exceed what I'm asking - it's set a record & has massive potential - new gearbox alone will save another second minimum.
I'm not having to sell the car as I refuse point blank to give it away, I would sooner fit the gearbox & put the other project on ice for a few months & then run the GTST next year & lower the record again & get into the 8's.

The thing this car has which the GTR's dont is the fact it is such a one off, no one has gone to this level before & will anyone in the UK or Europe go this mad again with a GTST.
The burning question for me is when the suspension is 100% & when the gearbox is in & a bigger bhp engine in there (ie/ 1300/1400 bhp) then will RWD prove to be better than 4wd - I have a sneaking suspicion it will be

I was outbid long ago I'm afraid

But is this thread an "advert for sale" loosely disguised as a "readers car " thread ??

I think anyone with £45k to spend on a drag car will know where to look yes

Best of luck with the sale though, and if you're ever down at Shakespeare County and need a driver, just let me know thumbup
