Having recently said goodbye to my cherished 944S2 and acquired a 911SC I'm finding the 915 gearbox a real beast. Getting it smoothly into first is often a problem, and getting into second a real struggle. Up into third, fourth and fifth, and getting into reverse ( after a pause for a couple of seconds) - no problems. Members' experience, diagnoses, ideas, gratefully received

Alston how have you got on,

I find a 915 although a bit 'unhurried'
the G50 always seemed a heavier to use on the 3.2 '
