I race in the national Dunlop Mini Se7en race series.

Engine
1012cc motor (+20" Ovebore only allowed)
Control Cam - Part No.CAM 6648 (Old MG Metro Cam)
Control Compression Ratio (11:4 to 1)
Control Valves sizes (Max 1.4" inlet)
Fully lightened and balanced bottom end inc Omega pistons and light f/wheel. Paddle clutch.
8500rpm redline
Big bore LCB and Modified RC40 exhaust
Single barrel of 45DCOE Weber
92 bhp

Chassis

Lightened Shell with full width Bulkhead airbox. Removal of rear seat overhang and rear companion pockets.
Fully Welded in cage in CDS. Removable steel front end. Ally tank inside boot - Glassfibre boot floor. Laminated scree & 4mm Perspex all round.
Hi-lo all Round - Suspension lowered and rear wheel arches raised for clearance.
Competition Bumpstops
Lowered Avo Dampers All round
Standard road cones all round
Fully Rose Jointed Suspension - inc Tie rods and Neg camber lower arms
Rear on Adjustable castor/camber brkts
Cooper S disks + competition pads - no servo + Minifin Rear drums.

Control weight including fluids and driver 650kg.

Tyres

Control Dunlop 60's Racing crossply CR70

Hi gareth, my Dad used to mechanic for KIMBO in the mig's, but since then Dave has stopped racing.
i always liked your car because it was orange

Cheers all..... Nice to see some love for the humble Mini on PH. Just a quick note to say I clocked up my best ever result with a 4th at Rockingham on Sunday. Bring on the top 3.
