Hi guys! Just signed up on here today after a few weeks of reading, great site and lots of clued up people on here !

Here's my Saxo anyway, 1997 VTS (the original one)! I've had it since June this year, and it was totally standard when i got it. I have done a few things with it but nothing over the top and it's all in keeping with the cars great looks!

Lowered 30mm on Eibach Pro Springs
Stainless Steel Exhaust With De-Cat
Colour coded front lip
smoked lights (side & rear)

Hmmm nice unmolested VTS, looks good with the white rims too.
Was thinking of having the rims restored on mine for the proper sleeper look.

thanks

i get alot of people asking why i have VTR rims on mine, but it's because they came standard on the early VTS's... i think they look nice in white, it's just a bit different !

i'm not really into the whole bodykit / big wheels scene unless it's something special or something jap!

Standard wheels look wicked on any cars so long as they're refurbed and shiney

This was mine when i got it earlier this year

Had a few changes made though hehe

Had to have the rear arches flaired slightly though but the rest of the kit is stock.

Think the stock rims would look good with the car sitting that low.

It's nice to see a Saxo that has been modded tastefully. Have the mods increased your insurance much? Im thinking about getting a saxo when I pass my test.

i'm with adrian flux and they haven't increased it at all... they wanted to see a signed form from the garage that did my suspension for me, and the same for the place that did the exhaust, and what the value of my mods was... and they didn't charge me any extra

Keep them standard (ok maybe lower it 20mm) and they're great little cars. The minute you start changing things they start to look very tacky. I loved mine, but it was standard from the day it was born till the day I gave it back to Sh*troen.

Insuring a VTS as your first car would cost you an absolute fortune.
