Hi, my name is Trevor and I am from Orlando, Florida. Here are some of my cars.

2004 Subaru Impreza WRX

Me in the car

After a day of rallying!

2006 Volkswagen MkV Golf GTI

both of them together!

and here is what I traded the GTI in for:

a 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Limited

It has leather, black painted calipers, huge wing delete and a nice little lip on the front.

It's an amazing car and I love it, much as I do all cars!

That all looks very nice, Trevor. I wonder how you manage rallying in Florida. I seem to remember driving into the state from Louisiana to be greeted by a massive sign reading:

Welcome to Florida. Drive too fast and we'll feed you to the 'gators!

It was something like that, anyway.
Welcome to PH!

Welcome. Nice motors. Out of interest, are your Scoobies 2 litre turbo or typical American V6/V8 muscle power?

May seem like a silly question but a few mates in Oz and New Zealand laughed when they found out UK Scoobies were until recently 2L. I'm not a follower of them but I'm sure some are now normally aspirated 2.5L.

I hired a car when I was over in Miami and Fort Myers. 2.5L Camaro convertible. God it was slow

Hope you enjoy PH's.

The WRX's in america from 2002-2005 we're EJ205's (turbo 2.0 liter) Now, in 2006+ they are the EJ255(turbo 2.5 liter). The STI has an EJ257 (also a turbo 2.5 liter). In America anyway, we have had a 2.5 liter NA impreza since 1993 called, up until recently, the 2.5RS. Now it's called the 2.5i and they are incredibly slow. I hope that answered your questions!

Eh, it was nice and all but I don't really like the fact that it's fwd. Also, my transmission(DSG) died in the first 4500 miles and was down for quite some time.

Hi there. I found some photos of mine being hotlinked from this site so I decided to investigate. Turns out someone ^ was using photos of my car as their own.

So to clarify, I own the 2007 STi Limited linked off of http://dansaa.com.

Have a great day!

hehe Thats quite funny. One wonders why somebody already owning an Impreza and a MK5 GTi would bother trying to further impress by pretending to own another Impreza.

Whats the story behind this trevor sti?

It always amazes me when people do this, do they wake up in the morning and decide "I'm going to pretend to own a car that I don't" or something !!

Welcome wrx_grl to the best motoring website on the PLANET! and in defense of Trev, he may well have just been showing the sti as what he traded his golf in for, not saying that particular car was his?? It doesn't look good though, but just thought I'd mention it. If he is guilty, then trev, damn your eyes, sir! hehe

Why do both the Scoob and the GTi have such small wheels in the US ?

Yeah the ones on the blue Scoob look especially tiny. Maybe its a Car company things to make people tick option boxes for bigger wheels therefore spend more money.

Although saying that not many scoobs in the UK are on standard rims, so maybe we are all just used to seeing them on (gold) 17s over here.

Another thing i found 'not right' was the rallying pic. If that has been rallied, then that must be either one of the claenest rally circuits, or a particularly slow driver! It just doesn't look mucky enough!
