Been on here awhile although not an avid poster. Thought i should put up my ride.

C Reg Porsche 944. Its the 2.5 8v so not super quick, although the previous owner (Step Dad who has owned it for nearly 16 years untill selling it to me) had it sent to Porsche for a few tunning things and a remap. So its pushing out more then stock.

Lovely to drive, get alot of people asking about it. Esp when at the Petrol station

Heres a few pics. These are a good 4 months old. Its had the sides and roof resprayed since. Washing it today in the sun i had to put my sun glasses on as it was blinding gleaming

Best thing about it is insurance. 23 with 2NCB and 2 Convictions (IN10 + LC20) its £800 FC 12k miles. Was looking to buy a 205 GTI or 325i sport (I prefer cars from 80's/ early 90's) Insurnce was around £1300 TPFT!

Whats it like as an everyday proposition mate. I've always fancied one and am led to believe that their quite reliable but my mind keeps telling me a car of that age and considering most of them are pretty high mileage has kind of hampered my ambition to own one.

Fine, as it the 2.5 8v i dont have to worry about the problem the 16v has with the chains or the worry of the Turbo

Only thing i've spent on the car since i've had it is Fuel, oil, oil filter and anti roll bar bushes. Quite a fun car to drive

Yellow box is a just battery boster. These pics are from when the car was brought out of storage after 3 years. Car only had 2 washes before i took them

Hopefully get some more recent pics Sunday, although it looks the same, just paint looks better

Woo i can have a mini rant .....
Why do people call their cars "rides" ? Propa gangsta bo!
You ride a bike , you "drive" a car .
This aint bad ass america , and no doubt being a skinny white bloke you must look a pillock reffering to your car as a "ride" booshacker waaa , or what ever it is .
