Hey everyone,

I'm a new member from S.Wales, this site has been recommended to me by a fellow member (Mikey G).

I have recently finished an Mi16 conversion in my '91 205GTi, have posted a few pics below for u to have a look. I hope u like

Welcome mate. Nice to see there are still some 205 MI16's around.I had my 205 converted back in 1996. Twin 45's, fastroad everything. I still had the 1.6 gearbox so accelleration was a bit bonkers.

I got rid of it when I kept breaking drive shafts and generally puting so much petrol in it. I got a Fiat Coupe 20V turbo which the Pug would have left until the Coupe got into second gear.

Nice motor.Hope you have as much fun surprising other drivers as I did. Have you any idea how much power yours has got. Mine had around 200bhp which without a turbo is a lot. Almost felt like a V8 because of the instant power.

At the moment i'm expecting it to be producing around 175bhp.

I have an induction kit fitted, a full 2.5" stainless system and a 'chipped' ecu www.starchipsolutions.co.uk I have also kept the 1.6 gearbox but have fitted the final drive from the Mi16, lowering the ratios further.

Once into 3rd gear it pulls like a train all the way to 8k, enough to embarrass most Scooby owners lol

I have just purchased throttle bodies so i'm hoping to get over 200bhp in the near future.

Nope, only had the one run on Rallyday.

I have 2 track passes for EuroFest next weekend tho, if u see me say hello.

Also, one of my ex's fathers is a marshall at Combe - Mike Skelton, u know him?

I will be there for the EuroFest, In the Pits again (nothing to do with my surname being Pitts, but can be rather amusing!) And If I can wangle it I will be the Pace car for the Parade laps!

Of course I know Mike, He is also Clerk of the Course ot Pembrey, he's rather high up in the Marshal world!!
