Here is a picture of my car

I know not to most your tastes, but I love it.

I’m currently doing some engine work on her after the cylinder head and turbo gave up the ghost.

before the engine died, she was running 152bhp and 185lb/ft. hopefully once I get it all back together she will be running around 170bhp.

Once the engine is back together I will be fitting my roll cage and stripping out the remains of the rear interior.

I plan to start track days early next year once my car is ready.

Hope you like her.

Chris.

I like the twin headlight conversion on it, it makes it look mean.

Good work, if not to everyone's taste. At least you are doing something about the performance and losing some weight too...

Looks good mate. Prefer the look of the standard bumper personally but bonnent looks great. What mods have you got under the bonnet?

thanks

the bumper isn't too dissimilar to the standard one.

well, at the moment the engine isn't tuned that much.

i'm running an Italian chip, decat, manual boost controller, front mounted intercooler and a pipercross panel filter in the standard air box.

i will be upgrading the turbo soon though, then i will be getting a fast road cam and custom chip.

Looking good Puntoboy. Any chance of some pics of the back of the car? I like the sound of all this CF floating around lick

Yeah sure...

You can't really see the carbon fibre diffuser in the bumper, but its there

Also the Abarth spoiler is carbon fibre.

I think that looks cool, although personally I would have black wheels.

How easy is it to see the rear lights through the black masking? It looks quite...opaque.

Nice work, though. thumbup

My original plan was to get the wheels powder coated black when I could get round to it, the engine breaking has kinda put that to one side. But the more I look at it, the more I like the white wheels. So I'm unsure now.

The lights were professionally tinted and although they appear quite opaque, once the lights are on they are quite transparent.

Thanks for you comments
