Hi Dave,
I notice you used to own a Racing Puma. I am considering selling my FTO and getting one myself, I hope you don’t mind me asking, but I just wandered from an owners point of you how is the puma to live with.
Being a Ford I’m assuming she was a good fun, quick and reliable car that didn’t cost too much to own, am I right?
Nice Focus by the way, best colour too.

Hi Istvan!
I've got an induction kit and de-cat on it, and it doesn't goo too bad. Yokohama A048 tyres make sure it really sticks to the road lol.
With old tyres, they aren't much good in the torque-steer department (as you can read in this month's Evo magazine!).
Oh, and that's a photo studio, not my garage lol.
The Racing Puma. A fantastic car. If you're into big-power cars it's not the vehicle for you, but handling-wise it's excellent. The steering is among the best this side of an Elise, and it sounds awesome. The seats are lovely and it looks great.
They're not really miles more to run than a 'normal' 1.7 Puma, although the body panels cost a bomb if any need to be replaced, and the paint it very prone to stone chipping. The main gripe with running them is the 4-pot Alcon brakes. They're straight from the Puma rally car, and so have no dust-seals, meaning they need cleaning out quite often or you'll end up with horrible squealing. Good brakes, though. It's a good laugh on track, but it does lack power. Any more questions, feel free to ask.
