If its a choice bewteen the two then Williams is the way to go, more expensive to buy, but should hold its value quite well

the clio has got a decat but apart from that i think its standard. its a completely different drive to my 205. power is all top end, but its not much faster i dont think.

I wanted to dislike it, but after i drove it, my opinions changed and id really like to have a go with a williams now

What about a 16 V ?
I had one and also drove a williams II.
Only noticed a small difference between the Williams and the 16 V.
16 V was a cracking wee car, but I got fed up putting new wheel bearings in it all the time.

Sorry mate, but i don't think that is a Williams, it looks like a 1.8 16V, like mine. It has 137 hp instead of the 150 hp in the Williams...

i can guarantee that it is not a williams, but a 1.8 16v. i owned a "valver" and it was a great little car.i certainly would not go for the 1.8 rsi.iv never had the pleasure of driving a williams, but that would definately be my choice, over the rsi.

dalla.nice to see a standard "valver" mate.personally i think it would look well with some multispoke alloys on.i had them on mine, and they looked really nice on it.lovely cars though,av had a 1.4rt,then i got the "valver".got a rover 200vi now,and considering its a "ROVER"! shes absolutely amazing.

Thanks a lot mate. It is 100% original and only has 65.000 KM on the clock. But i'am considering some Prima Racing alloys. They resemble the Williams ones, but are in 16".

There's no comparison between and RSi and a Williams (in spec, or price). The RSi is pretty good fun (a good friend of mine had one for a while), but the Williams is a more complete car on every level. The 16V has to be the car of choice though - almost as quick as the Williams but less limited edition so costs are lower (inc insurance).

i had a "valver", got in chipped, high lift cam, filter and an exhaust with a de-cat pipe, it would pi** all over the williams and even the 182s. so much fun for such a little car. i can't work out how to put a picture with this post or i'd show you it.
